Veronica,
One more thing...I was just looking at "Exhibit 6" from the original Fire Flow Report (see attached) and my
calculations for the Average Demands don't seem to jive with the 0.6 gpm /unit. Is there an updated table that
I'm missing?
Thanks,
Erika

Erika,
You commented on please use historical usage or fixture units to calculate the water and sewer
demands.
Here is how I calculated the unit demand...
100 gpcd *4 persons per unit (these are mostly 3 and 4 bedroom units in this phase) /12
hours /60min /hr = 0.6 gpm ( the distribution is over 12 hours not 24 b/c of the nature of students)
And peaked *4 = 2.4 gpm
The wastewater is similar using 80 gpcd instead of 100 so 80 *4 =320 gpd and peak 320 *4 = 1280
gpd peak
Is this the information you need?
Please call to discuss.
Thanks
Veronica

Veronica,
It looks like the water demands are appropriate. On the wastewater, please justify using 80 gpcd rather than
100 gpcd.
Thanks,
Erika
