Oakwood Custom Homes, Inc.

On September 23, 2003, the City purchased a 1.637 acre tract of land from Oakwood
Custom Homes, Inc., for the extension of Longrnire Drive South. Attached is a copy of
the Settlement Statement that shows the sales price of the land as $71,341,00. The Seller
was assessed the sum of $88,669,00 for the enhancement to his adjacent property when
this street is constructed. We credited the sale price of the land against the amount of the
owner's assessment. After closing costs and taxes, the Seller owed the City the sum of
$16,769.99,
Attached is a check from Brazos County Abstract Company in the amount of $16,769.99,
which is the amount owed the City by Oakwood Custom Homes, Inc. Please credit
Oakwood Custom Homes with 588,669.00 on the future assessment on this project,
