If there are additional discussions - I definitely need to be involved. The original Kona's plat is in Development Services - it is my understanding that this area was dedicated to the City (i.e, now City owned). Ozona's (Kona's) plat has an area of future dedication that they still need to dedicate or build the trail on the east side of their building. Regarding the low water crossings...they do not cause any change in the elevation or width of the floodway or floodplain on WPC and will be acting as grade control check dams, so no CLOMRs or LOMRs were required. Thanks, Laura »> Spencer Thompson 12/1/2004 1:29:45 PM »> Thanks Laura. Ozona is asking about tying into our trail. I wanted to see if it was even feasible. It looks like its possible. Does the City own the land or are we on easements? I have another question. The culvert crossings; they don't cause a rise the 100 -yr floodplain elevation, do they? The issue came up concerning City projects in our CAV by FEMA. The City is required to process a map change within 60 days of knowledge of a change in it's floodplain. We did not do one on the Landfill. We didn't do one on George Bush. Of course, if there's no rise or change in the floodplain then there's no LOMR needed. A rise according to FEMA regs is 0.01 feet. thx st Spencer G. FYI...This set of drawings is only one phase of the master plan and does not include the trail running from Harvey on the east side of Ozona west of the creek to intersection with the section on Sheet 6. That trail would be installed at a later date & requires the dedication of the future dedication area on their plat. Laura CC: Alan Gibbs; Bob Mosley; Jennifer Prochazka; Mark Smith
