SUBJECT: Viking Subdivision - Preliminary Plat
Staff reviewed the above-mentioned preliminary plat as requested. The following page
is a list of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed. If all
comments have been addressed and the following information submitted by Monday,
February 9, 10:00 a.m., your project will be placed on the next available Planning &
Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for February 19, 2004, in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 1101 Texas Avenue:
One (1) copy of the revised preliminary plat;
The Mylar original of the revised preliminary plat; and,
One (1) copy of the digital file of the preliminary plat on diskette or e-mail
to nmanhart@ci.college-station.tx.us
Upon receipt of the required documents for the Planning & Zoning meeting, your project
will be considered formally filed with the City of College Station. Please note that if all
comments have not been addressed your project will not be scheduled on the Planning
& Zoning Commission agenda. Your project may be placed on a future agenda once all
the revisions have been made and the appropriate fees paid. After the Planning &
Zoning Commission has approved the preliminary plat, please submit seven (7)
copies of the plat with any required corrections to the City of College Station. City
staff will check for all approved items and forward the plat to the County. If you have any
questions or need additional information, please call Spencer Thompson or myself at
764.3570.

1. According to TxDOT only one access point to TxDOT ROW will be permitted in the
area of this plat. Therefore, the plat needs to address a private, joint access
easement, whereby both lots can share a driveway. The nearest location from the
existing drive to the north is going to be about where the joint property line is shown.
Please show a joint access easement on plat in this location.
TxDOT may comment on location after review.
Any private issues concerning joint access drive may be shown on plat or worked out in
separate agreement.
