RE: Letter Acknowledging City Standards — Breezy Heights Addition, Block 4 Lot 8R
Dear Mr. Gibbs:
The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge that the construction plans for the sanitary
sewer and sidewalk for the above - referenced project, to the best of my knowledge, do not
deviate from the B /CS Design Guideline Manual except for the existing and proposed
sanitary sewer line does have the 2' minimum cover and is not located 5.5' from the edge
of the easement. An exception to these requirements is requested due to this unique
situation that the existing line does not meet the guidelines, therefore, the proposed 26'
extension of the sewer line cannot meet the guidelines. Due to the lack of sufficient
cover, the proposed sewer line extension will be constructed of ductile iron pipe instead
of PVC and will be backfilled with cement stabilized sand.
I also acknowledge that, to the best of my knowledge, the details provided in the
construction plans are in accordance with the B /CS Standard Details.
Sincerely, /is
ffi
