lease include City Standard Details in Construction Plans.
h.4 — There needs to be a minimum clearance of 12" between the storm sewer and water
/dr sanitary sewer lines.
\ Sh.5 — Please show the location of the silt fencing. Please include silt fencing along the
p acks of the lots bordering the detention pond.
Sh.5 — The construction entrance may need to be adjusted as the 50 -ft length will conflict
,.with the location of the proposed entrance island.
V8: Sh.5 -6 — The temporary fire turnaround must be built with a minimum 6-in limestone base
with one - course seal coat. It also needs to be blocked from public use and signed as being
,,fbr emergency access only. Please provide detail /note to specify these items.
/Sh.6 — The required minimum slope of the pilot channel is 0.5 %.
Sh.6 — Please provide a typical cross - section detail of the pond and details for all pond
low /outfall structures.
v9". Sh.6 — Notes and /or details need to be provided about the ditch being regarded to drain to
the existing 2 -24" CMP's. What are the proposed grades? Revegetation of the ditch?
02 y- section? — P,EL1zk 1•l A Ca
. Sh.6 — Since the pond is discharging and conveying flow through adjacent private property,
a private drainage easement needs to be obtained on the adjacent tract f land. T is filed tj
ument will need to be submitted prior to construction plan approval. "
0.. Sh.7 — Could you include Greens Prairie Trl. on the profile drawing. The intersection with
e existing pavement and associated grades needs to be shown.
V . Sh.7 — For the smaller storm sewer /inlet profile drawings, an elevation reference line needs
e provided.
.7 — At intersections, the approaching street should not exceed 2% grade within the first
feet of the intersecting curb line.
—The curb radii needs to be labeled at all intersections.
. Sh.7 — Based on the proposed grading, it appears that at least 100 feet of Clear Meadow
Creek Ave. at its intersection with Greens Prairie Trl. is draining undetained back to Greens
Prairie Trl. Per the Street Section of the BCS Design Guidelines,
"Storm drainage inlets
shall be located outside of the intersection curb returns and should be designed to minimize
the volume of storm water entering an intersection." Could storm water run -off be
. tercepted with another set of inlets or regrading the Clear Meadow Creek Ave.?
6. Sh.7 — Since medians /entrance islands are considered a "special design," the plant
materials, irrigation, drainage, and impact on adjacent pavement needs to be addressed on
,he plans. — S Pak4 NOV 0 4 04 Sirer 57'Dl.
Vi. Sh.8 — Please add a note about constructing the temporary fire turnaround. The note at Sta
96.23 makes it seem as though only 5-ft of rock rip rap and warning sign is required.

0. h.10 — In accordance with the BCS Desig Guidelines, Water Line "W1" must be looped
back to the 12 -in waterline along Greens Prairie Trl. or back to the 16 -in waterline along the
tside of the proposed detention pond in order to avoid looping along sides of S -xT`z, PH A
h.10 — Please verify that Block 2, Lot 8 will have wader service. inIshu
h.12 — Please verify that the maximum waterline bury depth of 5 -ft is not being exceeded. --
,S h.12 —The text at Sta.4 +49 should read "Tapping Sleeve & Valve."
. Sh.14 — Based on the given towlines, the slope between MH #93 and MH#94 is 0.76 %.

. Water Report (Pg.2) — Under "Existing Water Distribution System" #3, it references the 2"
and 3" waterlines along Royder Rd. being replaced by a 6" waterline in 2007. Please

nage Report (Pg.11) —The bottom slope of the pond should be a minimum of 5%. -- T-rF, t ainage Report — Please verify that the flows from Pond #6 are consistent with the
sumptions made with the design of the Regional Pond.
. Drainage Report — Please verify that the HGL for the 10 -yr storm is at least 0.5 -ft below the
a opening and the 100 -yr HGL is below the top of curb elevation.

Sh.6 - What will be the impact of regrading the ditch the detention pond is discharging to?
Sh.7 - The detail for Clear Meadow Creek should be a combination of ST2 -01 and ST2 -02
other than ST2 -03 as referenced in the note.
Sh.7 - Is Greens Prairie TrI. really an 8.25% grade? Per the Guidelines, no more than a 2%
,hange of grade is permitting at intersections.
* Sh,9 - We require that storm sewer in areas subjected to vehicular loadings have a
minimum of 2 -ft cover. If this is not possible, please certify in the Letter of Acknowledgment
that the proposed pipe is rated to withstand vehicular loadings (including fire truck loading)
at the proposed depth.
p5' - Per City Std. Detail D3 - 02, cement stabilized sand is required as backfill for all
HDPE /ADS pipe. Please revise the "Trench Bedding For ADS Pipe" Detail to reflect this
requirement. 1\)c: \i s to*s5 vt r- c, rz-- C '(51 . r'QP.1

Drainage Report - What is the elevation of the existing culverts crossing Greens Prairie Tit?
From our contour data it appears that your pond discharge point in lower than the elevation
of the culverts. Please verify. , .n
