HomeMy WebLinkAboutSpace Control RezoningSpace Control Rezoning Slide (SAM) Staff recommends approval of the rezoning with office, personal service shops, and mini - storage warehouses named as appropriate uses in the district. Even though more uses were requested on the rezoning application, a representative for the applicants has informed that they are agreeable to recommendation. Slide (comp plan graphic) Before the �JDO, mini - storage warehouses were allowed in C -3 zoning districts; so the warehouse use that is currently under construction on a portion of the subject property is grandfathered. The developers would like to bring theLtse into compliance with the UDO, and are interested in a possible expansion into the neighboring La Selva Nursery property or in developing it as low- intensity commercial. Staff is supporting this PDD request because: 1. It will limit the list of uses to those deemed appropriate through the 30/60 Study, and 2.
