There were so many errors on the first document that the scale may not have been one of the comments returned. When the plat was revised for the second review the scale issue was returned. When the plat was resubmitted again, the surveyor preparing the plat ignored the comment. Again, the platting professional is required to be familiar with all City regulations. Staff review submitted documents to assist in getting the items in compliance and approved as such. 1. On a replat document, the Original Plat does not have to be to a particular scale. It is mainly for reference and simply needs to be legible. If someone needs to review the Original Plat more closely they can go look up the original plat as originally platted. 2. The Replat should be to the required scale. It appears this one can meet this requirement. I do not see any mitigating circumstance related to this particular property as to why a variance request would be warranted. Please see Subdivision Regulations or consult your local RPLS for variance request requirements. 3. The replat of this particular property only needs to show the properties that are affected by the replatting process. The whole bottom half of the replat is not necessary. 4. I have contacted Mr. McCully to see if he granted a variance request to the subdivision regulations in regard to this plat. Not that he can do that or anything. If you have comments or questions concerning fees, please contact Ms George or Ms Ruiz. st Spencer G. As the original plat was also done @ the same non - standard scale he probably felt this was the best. We are puzzled about why the last minute concern as it was not mentioned in the initial comments. Do we get a chance to address Comments # 3, or is the processing fee only good for 2 1/2 rounds?
