1. The Holleman left turn lane needs a left turn arrow at its beginning.
A left turn arrow was added to beginning of the left turn lane on Holleman.
2. What happened to the arrows with the bike lane symbols?
The arrows which you are referring to were flow arrows, shown to convey the
direction of drainage flow on the streets. They were inadvertently left on, and
were never meant to be shown on any of these sheets. A new set of arrows were
added to go with the bike lane symbols that are shown.
3. This is probably shown on the construction traffic control sheets, but several Type III
barricades are needed where Deacon will temporarily end so traffic doesn't continue
traveling eastward along the street.
End of Roadway signs (0M4 -2) were shown on the approved street construction
plans. Per our correspondence, these are acceptable.
RESPONSE TO ENGINEERING COMMENTS NO. 1
1. Please add a scale to both construction sheets.
A scale was added to both sheets.
2. In addition to the proposed silt fence a rock check dam should be installed downstream
of the proposed outlet prior to any excavation activity.
The rock check dam was moved from inside the pond to outside of the outlet
control structure.
3. In addition to the following standard comments, if more than 5 acres will be disturbed
during construction of this project a NOI must be filed with the state and a copy provided
to the CoCS. Storm water management requirements are as follows, any questions
may be directed to Donnie Willis, CoCS Drainage Inspector, at 979 - 764 -6375:
Noted.
Additional Comments:
It should be noted that detention pond design shown on sheet 2 will not be built at this
time. It is only to show what will ultimately be built with the construction of Section 202,
as defined by the Castlegate II Preliminary Plan submitted on 1 -4 -12.
