GRADING NOTES:
1. TOPOGRAPHY SHOWN IS FROM FIELD SURVEY DATA AND AERIAL TOPOGRAPHY.
2. FILL MATERIAL SHALL BE COMPACTED TO AT LEAST 95 MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY AS DETERMINED
BY THE STANDARD PROCTOR TEST, (ASTM D698), AT A MOISTURE CONTENT FROM OPTIMUM
MOISTURE CONTENT TO FROM 4 % ABOVE THE OPTIMUM MOISTURE CONTENT.
3. THE TOPSOIL SHALL BE REMOVED FROM ALL AREAS AND STOCKPILED FOR REPLACEMENT ON
DISTURBED AREAS OF THE PROJECT. A MINIMUM OF 4" OF TOPSOIL SHALL BE PLACED ON ALL
DISTURBED AREAS. THE EXISTING DETENTION POND MAY NOT HAVE TOPSOIL. TOPSOIL WILL NEED
TO COME FROM OTHER AREAS OF THE PROJECT.
4. EXCESS EXCAVATED SOIL SHALL BE PLACED IN THE LOT AREAS OF PHASE 1.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THE ENGINEER WITH AS —BUILT SURVEY POINTS TO VERIFY
