Dear Mr. Schubert:
The Developer went to the tax office to get a tax certificate for Lot 149R. Attached is the tax
certificate for this property showing all taxes have been paid for the 220 acre tract that this
subdivision and lot were created from. A property ID number of 360558 has been created for Lot
149 for 2012 taxes, but a tax certificate cannot be provided for 2012 taxes until much later this year.
Therefore, there is no tax certificate that can be provided showing the current owners name at this
time.
Also attached is a copy of the Brazos County approval of the plat.

Deborah,
I called Karen McQueen and left a message on her voicemail about the issue and she called back today while I
was out. She told Meredith here at my office that this has come up before and as long as the most current
available tax certificate is provided showing the taxes are not due, even if the landowners name on the tax
certificate is different than the plat, the Plat can be filed.
