CC: File # 02 -189 Homes of Texas A &M University 1 s MCDONALD'S DRIVEWAY PERMIT (02- 00500189) ENGINEERING REVIEW COMMENTS No. 1 1. Removal of driveway median and replacement with curbing and pavement markings is not consistent with College Station ordinance requirements or driveway approval conditions, and therefore is denied. 2. City will allow median to be replaced in accordance with site plan approved 5/3/01, even though driveway was substandard as designed and shown. (thus creating current traffic problems). 3. Available options to reduce vehicle impacts include: A) construction of City Standard Right In, Right Out driveway as shown in Driveway Design Standards, B) construction of a raised median in Rock Prairie Road, or C) complete driveway closure. 4. New median island must provide accessible route between sidewalk ramps in accordance with Texas Architectural Barriers Requirements. Reviewed by: BRETT A MCCULLY, P.E.
