Frank has the plat. As you describe, the sellers need to convey to Woodland Hills before he can sign the plat. That is all scheduled to be done on Friday s 3:00 PM. Essentially, Frank and Tom Geisenschlag are coordinating the signing and delivery of the plat. Once the plat is signed, they will submit it to Development Services. The plat then needs to be processed through Development Services, including the signature of Rick Floyd of P&Z. Obviously, if the City receives the plat on Friday afternoon, it cannot be processed until next week. I would recommend that you keep the Friday closing date (from Thurmond to the City), since it will be tough to re- coordinate Roxanne, Frank, Tom and Jerry Windham. However, we should place all of the sale proceeds into an escrow account until the plat has been approved and filed, which should occur next week. Mark E. She is attempting to get this scheduled for closing. She indicated the problem was coordinating with Thurmond & Windham's schedules. City is fine with any date and so is Mr. Giesenschlag. She is working to get that accomplished. Linda said that Thurmond & Windham would be conveying the property to Woodland Hills and then Woodland Hills would convey to City. She mentioned the plat issue. Please take care of any issues relating to the filing of the plat. Legal is not responsible for that issue as reflected by the attached e- mails. I will let you know when Linda sets this for closing.
