CONSTRUCTION TO MEET CITY REQUIREMENTS TO PASS ALL INSPECTIONS
IN OBTAINING A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. - `
FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION
Per construction plans, with; 3000 psi concrete-4" slab with #3 bars at 16"o.c.e.w.,
14" wide x 36'' deep exterior grade beams with 3 - #5 bars and 6 - #6 bars, and
14'-' wide x 24"(min)-deep interior grade beam with 3-- #5 bars-and-6 = #6 bars.
Reference foundation drawings for other details.
WOOD FRAMING
Walls have 2x4 studs at 16" o.c. with wolmanized 2x4 bottom plate and 2 - 2x4 top
plates.
Exterior walls anchored with 1/2" x 8" anchor bolts, adhesive sealant, and shot down
with
concrete nails. Interior walls shot down with concrete nails.
Ceilings have minimum - 2x6 joists at 16" o.c. with 2x4 rat -runs and 2x6(min) stiff -
backs.
Other joist sizes provided in accordance with maximum span requirements(see plans).
Roof framing has min. 2x6 rafters at 24" o.c., with 2x8 ridges, valleys, and hips. Rafters
may be on 16"o.c., where rafters define the ceiling (cathedrals).
SHEATHING
Roof sheathing is 7/16" o.s.b. sheathing
Wall, sheathing on corners is 7/16: o.s.b.
Insulated wall sheathing is nominal 1/2" foil faced sheathing (celotex).
FELTS
Roofing felt is #15 asphalt impregnated felt, as is brick pocket sill flashing.
EXTERIOR TRIM
- Exterior trim is 1 x6 facia with 1 x4 shingle mold and brick pocket-- primed finger
joint fir or L.P.. laminated pressed board.
- Soffit is 3/8" exterior grade fir, plywood, or Hardi-Soffit.

WOOD FENCING
Fence is constructed of wolmanized - landscape post and 2A rails (3 rail). Posts are
approx.
7' o.c. spacing, set in concrete footing. Pickets are Ix6"x6' dog eared - #2 cedar picket.
