I have completed the plan review for this above mention project and would like to submit this letter of
comments that need to be addressed.
1. Provide information regarding energy conservation compliance.The lighting and mechanical
compliance certificates were submitted, but nothing for the building envelope.
2. Detail 4 on A302 — Restrooms; provide 60" clear floor space at the water closet measure
perpendicular to the sidewall. No other fixture shall be within the water closet clearance ANSI
A117.1 section 604.3.
3. Location of exit sign above case opening for the rear exit. Plan appear that exit sign is visible block
by wall (noted as ) #4 on A401
4. Provide fire extinguishers, min 2AIOBC
5. Provide fire sprinkler plans for review prior to installation of the system
6. Provide emergency lighting on the exterior side of the exit doors/discharge points. IBC. 1003.2.11.2

The following is in response to your plan review comments (attached) for the above -
mentioned project. The item numbers in this response correspond to the item numbers
in the plan review comments. In addition to this response list, the drawing sheets are
referenced on the plan review comments where applicable.
1. Refer to attached 8.5x11 sheets for building envelope calculations.
2. Refer to Detail 4 on Sheet A302 for required clearance of water closet per ANSI
A117.1 section 604.3.
3. Refer to Sheets A401 and E401 for ceiling mounted directional exit sign for sales
area.
4. Fire and Life Safety drawings are done as design/build by the general contractor,
plans will be submitted prior to installation of the system.
5. (Same as 4.)
6. Refer to sheets A401, E401, and E801 for exterior emergency lighting and specs.
