SUBJECT: THE GARDENS @ UNIV (SP) — Construction Documents
Staff reviewed the above - mentioned engineering documents as requested. The
following page is a list of staff review comments detailing items that need to be
addressed. Please address the comments and submit the following information
for further staff review and approval of the plans:
Three (3) sets of revised construction documents (please submit
additional sets for your use).

ENGINEERING REVIEW
COMMENTS No. 1
1. Station the 8 -inch water line and include it in the profile. (SHT W -1) Add a
blowoff to the end of the 8 -inch line.
2. The water /sewer line crossings also need to indicate that the joint of water
line pipe be centered over the sanitary sewer line. (SHT W -1)
3. The access drive is a private drive and as such will not be given a street sign
or name.

NOTE: Any changes made to the plans, that have not been requested by the City of College Station, must
be explained in your next transmittal letter and "bubbled" on your plans. Any additional changes on
these plans that have not been pointed out to the City of College Station will constitute a
completely new review.

COMMENTS No. 2
1. Reconcile the grate inlet elevation provided (306.9) with that shown on the
Homewood Suites Site Plan (307.4). Verify that stormwater will still flow into
the inlet at the higher elevation.
2. As stated in the previous review comments, the access easement (Mortella
Boulevard) is a private drive and as such will not be given a street sign or
name.
