General Note: These 26 residential lots will flow into the proposed 6" sewer lines which will be constructed with this development. These sewer lines will connect to an existing manhole on the 21" sewer line. Land Use: Single Family Residential Design Criteria Primary Sewer Outfall. An existing 21" sewer line through this subdivision which was constructed for the Castlegate Subdivision. Domestic Demand: Avg. Pop Density: 2.67 persons per unit Average Flow: 100 gpd /cap Residential Peaking Factor: 4 Pipe: PVC D3034 SDR 26 Applicable Exhibits: Exhibit A — Sanitary Sewer System Schematic Exhibit B — Sanitary Sewer Analysis Spreadsheet Conclusion The proposed 6" lines flow into an existing 21 " line previously constructed that was designed for the flow from this development. The analysis in Exhibit B checks the calculated slope required to pass the estimated flow against the design slope shown on the plans. The spreadsheet indicates the design slope is greater than the minimum computed slope, so we conclude that the system is more than capable of carrying the anticipated flows from the subdivision. Exhibit B also shows the full flow velocity in the proposed lines to be 2.94 and 3.07 fps and the calculated peak flow velocity to range from 1.42 fps to 1.85 fps.
