FINISHING REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN YOUR WARRANTY
Stanley steel doors are shipped with a high quality, prime coated finish. The surface must first be washed with mineral spirits. Scuff the surf
with 400 grit sandpaper or equivalent and rinse thoroughly with a mild detergent and water. Allow the door to dry thoroughly before repaintin
quality latex or oil -based paint.
All Stanley fiberglass doors are shipped with a high quality finish which requires very little preparation. Just clean the door with a mild deter
rinse with water to remove any oil that may have been picked up during handling
