SUBJECT: NANTUCKET PH 2 BLK 7 (FP-MINOR) - Final Plat
Staff reviewed the above-mentioned final plat as requested. The following page is a list
of staff review comments detailing items that need to be addressed. Please address
the comments and submit the following information by Monday, December 17, 10:00
a.m. to be placed on the next available Planning and Zoning Commission meeting
scheduled for January, 3, 2002, 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1101
Texas Avenue.
Ten (10) copies of the revised final plat; and,
One (1) Mylar original of the revised final plat with the appropriate
signatures.
One (1) copy of the digital file of the final plat on diskette or e-mail to
nmanhart@ci.college-station.tx.us

STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1
Project: NANTUCKET PH 2 BLK 7 (FP-MINOR)-FINAL PLAT - MINOR OR AMENDING

ENGINEERING
This is should be considered a Vacating Plat.
1. Please label in title block "Vacating and Final Plat". By vacating, the easements will
truly be erased. By re-platting, easements are still in place unless one goes through
the abandonment process in addition to the re-plat.
2. Due to the fact that easements are being affected, this is not a Minor Plat. This plat
will go to the P&Z. It should be a consent item. Please change the certificate from
staff approval to P&Z approval.
3. Please change Original Subdivision to Vacating Plat and change Resubdivision to
Final Plat.
4. Please include a Certificate for the City Engineer.
5. Please check your survey measurements. I can not get the survey to close.
6. On the lot line between the 2R lot and Lot 1, please change to read North and West
rather than North and East.
7. Please be aware that the County will need to see letters from the various utility
companies (TXU, BTU, etc) stating their willingness to vacate this easement before
action will be taken on the plat. The City can process the plat without this letter.
