Adam - The Water Services Dept does not give out maps of our entire system, after 9/11 we have tried to
be careful about releasing that information. Requests are almost always from developers, and they are
happy with just getting the piece of the system that affects their development. So, we typically ensure that
requesters have a legitimate reason to need the information, and then release only as much as they need
to engineer the infrastructure for their development.
Now, what I don't know is whether the Atty General would agree with that, especially in this case.
What I'd like to do is respond to this request by saying we need a more specific request, along with the
rationale, so that we can provide the specific information she needs. Will that be OK? Thanks, Dave

Stephen,
Do we give this information out? Is there standard response? Do we ask for more specific area, or
project? I think yall have handled this type of thing before.
Carol
