Subject: Southwood Holdings Amending Plat
Brenda,
We are doing an Amending Plat on Lot A-2, Southwood Holdings, on Rock Prairie Road in College
Station. The purpose of the plat is to correct the location of a Public Utility Easement that was created by
the previous replat. The easement was incorrectly placed encroaching the existing building that was
already there prior to the replat. The easement was created for an underground electrical line that runs to
an existing transformer.
The City of College Station is accepting this as a "minor" plat, but we still need some sort of verification
from the other utility companies that it is OK to move this easement. I have attached a copy of the
Amending Plat along with an exhibit showing the original location of the easement and the proposed
location. The PUE has been "tweaked" about a foot or so in a couple of spots just to get it away from the
building.
If this is acceptable to you for Verizon, a reply to this email will be sufficient for the City. Thank you for
