Subject: Alexandria Phase 6 and parking
I was recently informed of the upcoming plans for the Alexandria Phase 6 subdivision and the parking
situation that it will create in front of Creek View Elementary School. Currently there are 10 -12
Stylecraft homes that have the exact same Street Facing/Back alley parking at the top of Eagle Drive and
on a regular basis there are around 20 -25 cars parked on BOTH sides of the street on a daily basis.
People do not and will not use the back alley parking. It is inconvenient and simply much easier to park
on the street.
Currently, the traffic situation on Eagle during school pickup and dropoff is already unacceptable and
this will only make the situation worse. Im not sure if anyone has considered the traffic situation in front
of the Elementary School, but this will soon become a traffic quagmire with cars trying to avoid the
parked vehicles.
If there isnt a plan in place for at least one no parking zone, they will be creating a disaster.
Thank you for your time,
Matt Wofford

Thank you Mr. Hilgemeier for answering all my questions and sending me the plan you look at. I am
extremely concerned about these new homes going in because Newport & Eagle are way too congested with
traffic in the morning & when school lets out and when there are school events. Already the streets can not
handle the traffic and when home owners park on the street which they will do-Just as they currently do with
the Stylecraft homes down the street on Eagle -- that's just going to add to the problems that exist. Lots of
parents park on Newport - -on the street where the new houses are going to be built and walk their children to
school to avoid the lines of cars on Eagle. The school has done all it can to keep the flow of traffic moving
and to keep the children safe but by allowing these new homes to go in here, you'll just be adding to the
problems that already exist. The direction of the houses needs to be changed or they don't need to be built.
If you all don't believe how bad it is, talk to the school officials and park out on both streets and just observe
the morning & evening traffic patterns to you can see what more you will be introducing into the mix that is
eventually going to result in some child and or parent getting hit by a vehicle.

have attached a copy of the platting document for Phase 6 of the Alexandria Subdivision. It
