Zoning District: C-B Business Commercial and OV Overlay Corridor District Location: 701 University Drive East, Suite 300 A Applicant: Bonanza Signs Item Summary: The applicant is asking for permission to extend the existing attached signage on the front fagade. The existing sign is red lettering in a script font. The new signage would be added above this in blue block font and read "Concepts". The ordinance states that "Signs shall include no more than three colors and two lettering styles. At least one of the colors must match the predominant colors of the building." (Section 8.19.E). The red in the existing portion of the attached sign was determined to be a predominant color of the building when the PRC considered it on June 6, 2001. Issues/Items for Review: 1.
