ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN ALLEYWAY
LOCATED BEHIND THE COLLEGE HILLS ESTATES SHOPPING VILLAGE IN THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, has received an Application
for the Abandonment of a Portion of an alleyway which crosses and
lies behind the College Hills Estates Shopping Village in the
City of College Station, more particularly described on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 1992, the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas, heard the application of Joe Fontana for
the vacation and abandonment of a portion of the alleyway which
crosses and lies behind the College Hills Estate Shopping
Village, as shown on the plat recorded in Volume 102, Page 93 of
the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas, that a portion of the previously platted
alleyway which crosses and lies behind the College Hills Estate
Shopping Village in the City of College Station, more particu-
larly described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "A",
be abandoned and vacated; that the Mayor and City Secretary be
authorized to convey by quit claim deed on behalf of the City of
College Station any right or claim which the City has in and to
said portion of alleyway to be abandoned to Joe Fontana.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 13th day of August, 1992.
