SUBJECT: JSEA SUBDIVISION (FP) - Final Plat
Staff reviewed the above-mentioned final plat as requested and has no comments.
Please submit the following information by Monday, July 22, 10:00 a.m. to be placed on
the next available Planning and Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for August 1,
2002, 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1101 Texas Avenue.
Ten (10) copies of the final plat;
One (1) Mylar original of the final plat with the appropriate signatures; and,
One (1) copy of the digital file of the final plat on diskette or e-mail to
nmanhart@ci.college-station.tx.us
Upon receipt of the required documents for the Planning & Zoning meeting, your project
will be considered formally filed with the City of College Station. If you have any
questions or need additional information, please call me at 764-3570.

FINAL PLAT - RESIDENTIAL for JSEA SUBDIVISION (FP)
Item: Discussion and possible action on a FINAL PLAT consisting of 5.175
acres for the JSEA SUBDIVISION located along White Creek Road in the City's
Extra Territorial Jurisdiction. (02-00500129)
Applicant: KERR SURVEYING
Staff Recommendations: Staff recommends approval of the final plat as
submitted.
Item Summary: This item is for the consideration of a Preliminary Plat for 2 lots
on 5.175 acres in the City's ETJ. The property is located southwest of
Easterwood Airport on White Creek Road Drive, adjacent to the College Station
City limit line. The subject property is currently developed as two single-family
residential homes. The 5.175 acres is being subdivided into two lots, one at
1.606 acres, one at 3.325 acres and .244 acres of right-of-way dedication.
Comprehensive Plan Considerations: The subject property is located in the
City's Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.
Land Use Plan: N/A
Thoroughfare Plan: White Creek Road was previously shown on the
Thoroughfare Plan as a minor collector at the northeast side of the subject
property. The Thoroughfare Plan was amended and the street removed from the
Plan by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council earlier this
year.
Parkland Dedication: N/A
Open Space Dedication: N/A
Special Area Plans: N/A
Budgetary & Financial Summary: N/A
County Approval: The applicant met all comments provided by the Brazos
County Road and Bridge Department at the Preliminary Platting stage. The
County made no comments on the Final Plat. Staff found continuity between the
preliminary and final plats. Once the Planning and Zoning Commission approves
the plat it will move forward to the Brazos County Commissioners Court for their
review.
