SUBJECT: Beverage Oasis -Discussion and consideration of replacing
materials only on the existing awning located at 700 University
Drive (02 -114)
The PRC held a meeting on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 to review the above -
mentioned project. Mr. Norsworthy with McCo -Ad signs stated that the fagade of
the building is a chocolate medium brown. Mr. Norsworthy stated that colors of
Beverage Oasis sign and awning covering will be very similar in color to the sign
of Wing Stop. Ms. Flanery presented a picture of Wing Stop sign, which is
adjacent to proposed Beverage Oasis. The Beverage Oasis' awning will be a
green sign with a brown band in it. Commissioner Floyd asked if the ivory color
will clash with Wing Stop yellow color. Ken stated that is does not clash.
Commissioner Williams moved for approval. Commissioner McMath seconded
and it passed 3 -0.

Item Summary: The applicants are proposing to replace the material 'only" on the
existing awning. The material will be the same color and same
dimensions.
