HomeMy WebLinkAbout00073000ORDINANCE NO. e2 �- in AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, "ZONING', SECTION I, "ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS, PROVISION FOR AN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AFFECTING CERTAIN PROPERTIES AS DESCRIBED BELOW; DECLARING A PENALTY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: PART 1: That Chapter 12, "Zoning ", Section I, "Establishment of Districts, Provisions For An Official Zoning Map ", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes. PART 2: That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty -five dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00). Each day such violation shall continue or be permitted to continue, shall be deemed a separate offense. Said Ordinance, being a penal ordinance, becomes effective ten (10) days after its date of passage by the City Council, as provided by Section 3 5 of the Charter of the City of College Station. PAGE 2OF4 EXHIBIT "A" That the Official Zoning Map of the City of College Station, Section I, "Establishment of Districts, Provisions For An Official Zoning Map ", of Chapter 12, "Zoning ", is hereby amended as follows: The following property is rezoned from A -O Agricultural Open to C -1 General Commercial. 5.005 acres being all that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land being the same tract of land conveyed to Exxon Pipeline Company by Dymple C. Creagor by Deed dated April 10, 1978, and recorded in Volume 394, Page 298, of the Official Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 5.005 acre tract being more particularly described in the attached Exhibit `B" and shown graphically in Exhibit "C". ORDINANCE NO. BEGINNING at the iron of the beforementioned of Rock Prairie Road; EXHIBIT "B" PAGE 3 OF 4 rod set at the intersection of the northwest line 100 acre tract with the north right of way line THENCE North 45 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East along the fence found narking the beforementioned northwest line of the 100 acre tract for a Distance of 690.00 feet to an iron rod set for corner; THENCE South 45 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds East for a distance of ; 37.0.00 feet to an iron rod set for corner; TK - ENCE South 45 Degrees 00 Minutes 00 Seconds West for a distance of 488.53 feet to an iron rod set for corner in the fence found marking the beforementioned north right of way line of Rock Prairie Road; 'THENCE North 73 Degrees 34 Minutes 09 Seconds West along the beforementioned fence found marking the north right of way line of Rock Prairie Road for a distance of 421.30 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 5.005 acres of land, more or less, and being the same tract 'donveyed to Exxon Pipeline Co. by Dymple C. Creagor by Deed dated April 10, 1978, recorded in Volume 394, Page 298, Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas.
