Last year(2008), prior to our home renovation, this property appraised for
$87,000, After the renovation, which took 9 months to complete, as of July 2009
it appraised for $442,000 with no garage or landscaping improvements. This is
not a financial investment for resell purposes. The improvements are being
made to enable us to realize our dream of having a beautiful home and enhance
the quality of this great old historic neighborhood.
Please know that we are semi -retired and have no plans to sell this property that
has been in our family since 1952. We are working with a professional Master
Arborist, and Landscape Architect in our effort to determine the optimum garage
placement that will avoid any negative natural resource impact and maximize the
land improvement features. The garage placement has a direct impact on other
landscape features that will compliment the entire property.
