This is to notify you that the City of College Station is considering a REZONING request
for the following property:

Mr. Templin:
In pursuing our rezoning on this property, there has been some concern expressed by the
Planning and Zoning Commission and staff about access to this site. Since this is an
infrastructure matter, we intended to address this situation at the time of platting, but are willing
to address it now, in order not to interfere with the rezoning. Since time is of the essence, I will
volunteer to reconstruct the northwest t/2 (from the centerline to the right-of-way line) of Arnold
Road for 320 feet fronting my property, and matching the portion Ali Safi is volunteering to
construct.
This construction is to be to a minor collector standard as shown on the Thoroughfare Plan. I
want also to reiterate my statement in my April 5th letter, which I will also volunteer to construct
approximately 240 LF of roadway for access from my property across the park, to Rock Prairie
Rd. I hope this addresses the staff concern about access. If you have questions or comments,

In pursuing our rezoning on this property, there has been some concern expressed by the
Planning and Zoning Commission and staff about access to the site, particularly with regard to
the proposed C-1 tract. We intended to address this infrastructure issue at the time of platting,
but are willing to address it now, in order not to interfere with our rezoning case. Since time is
of the essence in this matter, I will agree to construct approximately 240 LF of the proposed
Normand Drive extension from my property to Rock Prairie Rd. across the park property in
accordance with the current Thoroughfare Plan.
I am willing to discuss construction of the offsite segment to a "major collection" standard if
necessary. I hope this addresses the staff concern about access. If you have questions or

In pursuing our rezoning on this property, there has been some concern expressed by the
Planning and Zoning Commission and staff about access to this site. Since this is an
infrastructure matter, we intended to address this situation at the time of platting, but are willing
to address it now, in order not to interfere with the rezoning. Since time is of the essence, I will
volunteer to reconstruct the southeast '/2 (from the centerline to the right-of-way line) of Arnold
Road for the full 320 feet fronting my property.
This construction is to be to a minor collector standard as shown on the Thoroughfare Plan. I
hope this addresses the staff concern about access. If you have questions or comments, please

The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 1,
2002 at 6:00 p.m. to consider the request. The City Council will also hold a public
hearing to consider the request and the Commission's recommendation on Thursday,
JULY 11, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The public hearings will be held in the City Hall Council
Room located at 1101 Texas Avenue South, College Station, Texas.
All owners of the subject property and property owners within 200 feet of the subject
property have received notification of this request.
