All proposals involving site development or redevelopment in the Northgate District shall
require a review subcommittee of the Northgate Revitalization Board (NRB).
Zoning District: NG-1 Historic Northgate
Location: Lots 1, 2, 3, 18, 19, 20 Block 15 of the W.C. Boyette Estate Partition
East of Wellborn, north of Maple, and west of First
Applicants: Cindy and Greg Skypala
Item Summary: The subject property is undeveloped land abutting existing fourplexes
and duplexes. The applicants are proposing to build a two-story, three-bedroom, brick
fourplex on each lot, for a total of six buildings. There will be a shared driveway from
Maple, a 28-space parking lot, and dumpster for the complex. A three-foot cedar fence
is proposed to screen the parking lot from Maple. Each property will be developed so
that the lots may be sold separately in the future. Six-space bike racks will be located
between the buildings and the parking lot. Canopy trees, non-canopy trees, and
shrubbery are proposed to meet the landscaping/streetscaping requirements. Mail
kiosk locations will be proposed at the meeting and material samples will be available.
