Ms. Jimmerson stated the applicant is requesting to place attached signage on the building. Ms. Jimmerson stated that the only thing in question is having one of the colors of the sign match one of the building colors, which are brick and beige siding. Mr. Barnby is proposing a sign with green Towne Place Suites and with red Marriott behind it. Commissioner Trapani asked if this attached signage is replacing the temporary signage. Mr. Barnby said yes, but it will be little higher than the temporary sign. Mr. Barnby stated there are not any red or green colors on the building, so the proposed signage does not match the building. He suggested doing the returns on the cans to match the brick or the siding color. Commissioner Trapani moved to approve signage with the idea of the cans matching the brick or the non brick fagade of the building. Commissioner Kasier seconded and the motion passed 3-0. Staff Planner Jimmerson brought it to the Board's attention that this came before them back in September and was approve with the condition that the cans, or the edges, of signage will match one of predominate colors of the building. It was stated that it should match the brick or gray/tan of the siding. The applicant is asking for the cans of the sign to match the green color of the shutters. They are asking for the green to be the predominate color. Commissioner Trapani made the motioned to approve the color green. Commissioner McMath second and the motion passed 3-0.
