Dear Mr. Adams,
It is our pleasure to submit the following proposal of services for the above referenced project.
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
A. Contract Documents
The Landscape Architect shall prepare documents necessary to construct the items listed
below per Grubbs Ramsey standards.
1. Planting plan within the projea limits.
2. Irrigation plan within the project limits
3. Required notes and calculations, which may be required by the city
Site plans and typical site features shall be drawn at a scale deemed necessary by the
Landscape Architect. The Landscape Architect shall also prepare specifications which
describe materials, workmanship, quality, and perfoxrnance criteria required for the
construction of the work.
B. Submittals and moetings
Meetings, submittals or coordination of plans to the city.
D. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
A. The client shall provide project information and necessary site information to
complete the project. These may include:
1. Accurate existing site feature survey (vegetation, existing buildings, etc. in a
form compatible with Autocadd).
2. Proposed site features from other consultants ( Architectural, Engineering, , etc. in a
form compatible with Autocadd),

B. The client agrees to provide required information and render decisions expeditiously
for the orderly progress of the Landscape Architect's services.
C. The client shall retain setviccs of specialized consultants ( Structural Engineers, etc. )
when such services are deemed necessary.
M. BASIS OF COMPENSATION
Billing will be monthly based on percentage of completion
A. Contract Documents
After receipt of the final engineering electronic file in a form compatible with Autocadd
the fee for services stated previously will be:
S1,200.00 lump sum for planting plan, irrigation plan, notes, and calculations
B. Submittals and moerines
Submittals and meetings will be hourly based on the foe schedule.
C. Compensation for additional services shall be computed on any hourly basis as described in
the attached Schedule of Fees. Additional services are defined as any changes made by the
owner or owners consultant after the Landscape Architecture work has begun. This also
includes but is not limited to any hacdseape items, site visits, rendeiings or anything that is
not planting or irrigation,
D. Reimbursable expenses shall be billed at direct costs plus 15%. Reimbursables include
but are not limited to-
I . All print costs ( except in office requirements
2. Delivery costs
1 Telephone charges
E. Automobile expenses will be billed at a flat rate of 50.35 per mile.
F. Payment is due withut 30 days of the date of the invoice and is payable to the office of
Grubbs Ramsey, Inc., 17311 Dallas Parkway, Suite 220, Dallas, Texas 75248. Work may
be discontinued and documents withheld by Grubbs Ramsey, Inc. if payments are not
received in a timely manner. The irtvoioe is considered past due if the payment has not
been received within thirty ( 30 ) days of the invoice date. If the invoice is not paid
within thirty ( 30 ) days, interest will be added at 1 1/2% per month.

IV. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT '
A. This agreement may be terminated by either parry upon seven ( 7 ) days mitten notice.
At this time, owner agrees to compensate the Landscape Architect for services, and
associated reimbursables, performed through the date of any termination.
H. Neither the owner or the Landscape Architect shall assign, sublet or transfer any
interest in this agreement without the written oonsent of the other.
V. OWNERSHIP AND USE OF DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and specifications, in inst umenis of service, will remain the property of the
Landscape Architect regardless of the project being executed.
