All parking spaces adjacent to R.O.W. are required to be screened. 2. Please delineate all proposed and existing landscaping, and please show appropriate barricading for trees and note which ones will be barricaded. 3. Please delineate proposed and existing sidewalks. 4. Please be aware that freestanding signs are not allowed in Northgate. Zoning District: NG-1 Historic Northgate Location: 300 College Main Applicant: Veronica Morgan of Mitchell & Morgan Item Summary: To improve existing parking lot. Item Background: A & M United Methodist Church is proposing to improve and expand the existing parking lot facilities by replacing the existing gravel parking with an improved asphalt parking lot. Private off-site parking lots require (CUP) Conditional Use Permits. Conditional Use Permits and the associated site plans are ultimately approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Planning and Zoning Commission can impose additional requirements to mitigate potential negative impacts. The NRB is a recommending body for this project. It is staffs understanding that the proposed buffering, of a 3' fence, by the applicant is acceptable to the adjacent property owners to the north.
