I talked to Jerry concerning the parking lot. He is interested in knowing the status of the parking lots at Curry Plumbing and Silk Stocking. I am in the process of getting with Joe Schultz concerning pricing for both returning it to natural and paving or asphalting it. What would be the procedure for going to the P&Z? I guess we will explore all our options. Will we be notified in writing regarding the enforcement of the penalty? You mentioned our time frame for the 60 days started today? Gary informed me that the 60-days to start construction wasn't even an acceptable option, that they would be needing another Temporary Parking Lot extension. I have not had a chance to call him back yet, but wanted to inform you of his message. I will be calling Gary back to let him know that the church has two options. Options: 1) The church would have 60-days from July 15 to get an approved site plan and to start construction by the end of this time period. 2)The church can submit a written request to the Commission to discuss in a future workshop, if they would be willing to allow the the church to come back to request permission for another 12-month extension for a temporary parking lot. I would like to reiterate that requesting another two or three years for a "temporary " parking lot is not acceptable and certainly does not meet the entent of the City's Temporary Parking Ordinance. Jennifer Reeves 07/15/02 09:46AM I talked to Natalie about the 60-day time period for the Church to bring their temporary parking lot into compliance. Natalie is in agreement that as long as they have started construction within the 60-day time period, then that would be acceptable. The 60-day clock starts today and will be up on September the 13th. Please feel free to call if you or someone at the Church needs any additional information to help this project along.
