All proposals involving site development or redevelopment in the Overlay District shall
require building aesthetics approval from the Project Review Committee (PRC).
Zoning District: C -B Business Commercial and OV Overlay Corridor District
Location: 1401 University Drive East
Applicant: Michael Bakke of Spitznagel, Inc.
Item Summary: The applicant is developing an Extended Stay America hotel in the
Gateway Phase Two Subdivision. A technical review of the proposed site plan was
delayed while platting issues were being addressed. Although this submittal to the
PRC comes early in the development review process, it is believed that the building
footprint and signage will not change.
