Title block should read "Vacating and Final Plat" instead of Replat. The original plat should be labeled 'Vacating". Where is Lot 3? There are two Lot 5's - a Lot 5 and Lot 5R. Lots do not need to be labeled with an "R ", since this is not a replat. In regard to the 2 utility easements on Lot 2, Blk 4 (Original Plat), we can't file the plat as it is abandoning both easements until the water tower is relocated, and if the plat is not filed, building permits can't be issued. Also, the western easement, under the proposed Aggieland Printshop, can't be abandoned until the line from Texas Ave. directly to the tower, is installed. And, it is our understanding that the eastern easement, that is under the proposed parking lot, can not be abandoned until the water tower is moved. There appear to be 2 options. A. Abandon only the western easement with the plat, allowing the plat to be filed once the line is constructed from the water tower to the line in Texas Ave. (This will need an easement.) This will allow building permits to be issued prior to the relocation of the tower. Then abandon the eastern easement after the tower is relocated. B. Abandon both easements with the plat, but in their place provide a temporary blanket utility easement over this area. Show dedication of 15 feet of additional ROW along Holleman. Our records show it to be a "Blanket Easement ". An easement description may have been done later. You may wish to check on this and show it on the Vacating Plat. You can vacate an easement -by- description with this procedure, otherwise it will have to be done later through Council. This is your call. 2. In order to maintain consistency with this subdivision, please name your tract "Lot 2R -2, Block 2" and the remaining tract "Lot 2R -1, Block 2 ". 3. Please show the Verizon easement and all existing easements on the vacating side. If the Verizon easement is existing when this plat is filed, include it on the resubdivision side. If any other easements are known, please place them on the proper plat. 4. Please label the public easement (water and storm) as "Public Utility Easement ". 5. The signature block for "City Council" is not necessary.
