The interior parking spaces on the west - side along the north end island will need to be screened from the R.O.W. 2. Please delineate the existing types/caliper and location of existing trees to remain in the reserved area. This is pertinent information; otherwise, you will be required to install the required buffer with plantings. Reviewed by: Jennifer Reeves Date: 02/26/02 ENGINEERING 1. Concerning the waterline construction plans, please raise the 12" line along FM 2818 to a point such that the branches from this line do not require such extreme offsets. These offsets allow entrapped air into the City system. 2. Sheet C-3: It does not appear to be sufficient room for a 12x6 tee, 6" spool piece, 6" elbow, 6" spool piece, 6x6 tee, and FH assembly and still ensure the hydrant remains in the easement. Please reconfigure to ensure compliance. 3. Line-W-2: Your line should end with a fire hydrant unless the line continues to the building. A tap will be made onto the line before the hydrant for domestic use. If the line continues to the building, such as a fire line, the line must be in an easement. 4. Sheet C-2: at Sta3+77.91, what is the cross for? This line does not continue. Please see previous note. 5. Sheet C-2: Please design line as flat, without the rise and fall. After the main line is lowered, this should allow this line to be constructed in a flatter projection. 6. Is a manhole to be constructed on this site? 7. Sheet C-3: Note on headwall and wingwall says 12". 1 do not believe this is correct. Please add note concerning rip-rap (or other) erosion control as required. Reviewed by: Spencer Thompson Date: March 4, 2002 NOTE: Any changes made to the plans, that have not been requested by the City of College Station, must be explained in your next transmittal letter and "bubbled" on your plans. Any additional changes on these plans that have not been pointed out to the City, will constitute a completely new review. 2 of 2 9 . -DA-.
