The subject property and an additional 19.1 acres to the north are proposed to be developed as a single
multi family residential project Because multi - family residential use is not perm itted in the C -B zoning district,
a rezone to R-5: Apartments is requested
2.) Indicate whether or not this zone change is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. If it is not,
explain why the Plan is incorrect.
This zone change is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan The proposed multi - family residential
development requires sufficient frontage on University Drive to be contiguous with 19.1 acres to the north
that are already zoned R -5: Apartments The zone change would also provide a transition betw existing
single - family uses to the west and proposed commercial uses to the east.
3.) List any other reasons to support this zone change.
