HOW TO:
DEVELOPMENT WITH A PIPP
❑ Applicant submits four (4) sets of facility layout plan and application to Development
Coordinator.
O Development Coordinator routes:
❑ 1 set to Building for review.
❑ 1 set to Planning/Engineering Plans Check Room for review.
❑ 1 set to Planning File.
❑ 1 set to Applicant
❑ Development Coordinator notifies reviewers that plans for a PIPP are in Plans Check
Room for review.
❑ Building Checks signs, structures, electrical, irrigation (building signatures constitutes
Building Permit issuance for all Building Permit related items) (PIP constitutes sign
permit, electrical permit, wiring permit).
E3 Engineering checks for drainage items, erosion control, infrastructure conflicts
(Engineering signature constitutes Development Permit issuance and ordinance
compliance).
❑ Planning Checks for completeness of plan and ordinance compliance.
❑ Reviews comments returned.
❑ Comments addressed, final plans approved and fees paid for building fees.
IF FIRST SUBMMAL PLANS ARE INCOMPLETE, THE SUBSEQUENT
SUBMITTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED ANOTHER FIRST SUBMITTAL.
