The Driveway Ordinance ( #1971) specifically addresses the maximum and minimum widths of commercial driveway approaches for two -way operation. The ordinance states that "the maximum width of commercial and multi - family driveway approach for two -way operation shall not exceed thirty -six feet (36')...." While I understand that the main portion of the driveway itself is 30', the approach is measured at the property line /right -of -way. Due to no special traffic conditions, the driveway will be required to meet the ordinance stipulation. Reviewed by: Shauna A. Laauwe Date: October 5, 2000 ENGINEERING 1. No comments.
