The owner is aware of the issues with landscaping and parking. The owner does want to add more landscaping in order to try and save more existing trees, which in turn will reduce the parking count. The owner is also going to replace two building with two different types of buildings. What is the process for obtaining a variance for parking and interior landscaping? Is the variance obtained before site plan review? Please let me know as soon as you can. My concern is with the statement that the parking needs to be substantially reconfigured and in reviewing the comments I don't see that need. Are there additional comments that were not submitted that will require substantial reconfiguring? Also we submitted a presite plan and there were not any major concerns with the parking layout at that time. Why have things changed since then? I need to have this issue resolved today.
