Our Zoning Ordinance, however, does not address this particular use. Mr. Donald Jones of Southern Realty & Financial Company has asked the staff to bring this use consideration before you. The two zoning districts Staff feels may best accompany this use are A -O Agricultural — Open, and C -1 General Commercial. This is for discussion purposes only at this time, any ordinance revisions would be at a later date. Agricultural -Open purpose statement: "This district includes lands within the corporate limits of the City which are not subdivided and are relatively undeveloped. This district is designed to promote orderly, timely, economical growth and to recognize current conditions. It is a reserved area in which the future growth of the City can occur." The advantage of this district is that it is generally found in the outskirts of the city. The City of Bryan allows RV Parks in their Agricultural -Open district as a conditional use. General Commercial purpose statement: "This district is designed to provide a location for general commercial, retail uses which serve the entire community and its visitors." The advantage of this district is that a RV park is a commercial enterprise for our visitors.
