ATTN., Mr. Don Ganter 3712 Old College Road Bryan, Texas 77801-4109 RE: Satchel's / 303 Boyett - College Station, Texas Dear Mr. Ganter, Please advise me regarding your plans for the subject property. In the agreement you entered into with the City of College Station (Facade Improvement Rehabilitation Agreement executed October 19, 1.998) it states "The Owner, shall maintain the facade improvements at a similar or higher level of maintenance for a minimum of five years" - see "Terms and Conditions, Number 12(b)". My first contact with you regarding the removal of the upper portions of the porch columns, initiating the City's awareness of non-compliance with the agreement, was on August 6, 2002. Based on your application to the City regarding renovation to your building (porch enclosure), on October. 24, 2002 the Facade Improvement Program Advisory Committee (FIPAC) recommended to the Project Review Committee (PRC) that you be allowed to do so with certain requirements. The PRC's approval of the renovations, along with the tequirements of approval, was provided you on October 30, 2002. It has now been approximately five months since my initial contact with you regarding this matter., and to date, you have not reinstalled the upper portions of the porch columns, nor have you initiated renovation to the porch by applying for a permit through our Building Inspections Department. Please be aware that financial penalties may be incurred based on the amount of time your property is determined to be in non-compliance with the Facade Improvement Rehabilitation Agreement. It is not the intent of the City to place an unreasonable burden upon you, but the City would appreciate a good- faith effort on your part to, again, be in compliance with the agreement you have made with the citizcns of this community. Please contact m.c in writing, or via phone at 764-3778, within seven (7) days of receiving this correspondence as to your intentions. If I have not heard from you within severs (7) days, 1 will forward this matter on to my administrator for further action. Sincerely, c„Brie Garton Housing Program Coordinator cc: To File Natalie T.
