NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
This is to notify you. that the City of College `Station is considering a rezoning. request of the
following: property:.
Subject Property: Approximately 5.8 acres, located .along. the west side State
Highway 6, 700 feet South of Graham Road.. A portion of a
35.854 acre Tract in the Robert Stevenson League,. Abstract 54.
(See attached location map.)
Proposed Zoning;: From R-6 Apartment High Density to
C-1 General Commercial-
The City Council approved this request on March 25 1.999 with the following conditions:
1. Installation of a vegetative buffer to meet R&D Research & Development, requirements on the
.proposed C-1 property along. the western boundary..
2. The overall height of the buildings in the C-1 development may not exceed. 35 feet.
3. The zoning would not be effective until an east-west minor: collector is either installed or
guaranteed.
However, the applicant is requesting the City to reconsider the request and allow C-1 zoning
without the conditions listed. above.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will- hold a public hearing on Thursday, May. 6, 1999 at
7:00 p.m, to consider the rezoning. request. The City Council will also hold a public hearing to
consider the rezoning request and the Commission's recommendation on Thursday, May 27,
1999 at 6:00 pm. Both hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Room located at 1101
Texas Avenue South, College Station,- Texas.
All owners of the subject property and property owners within 200 feet of the subject property
have received notification of this request.

The College Station City Council will hold a public hearing to consider rezoning request for
approximately 5.8 acres, located along the west side of State Highway 6, .700 feet south of
Graham Road, from R-6 Apartment High Density to C-1 General Commercial. The site is a
portion of a 35.854 acre tract located in the Robert .Stevenson League, Abstract 54.
The City Council .approved this request on March Z5, 1999 with conditions.
The applicant is<requesting the City to remove these conditions from the zoning.
The hearing.: will be held- in the Council Room of the College Station. City .Hall, 1101 Texas
Avenue at the 6:00 p.m. meeting of the Council-on Thursday, May 27, :1999.
