AN ORDINANCE REZONING A TRACT OF LAND TOTALING 5.8 ACRES, A PORTION
OF A 35.854 ACRE TRACT LOCATED IN THE ROBERT STEPHENSON LEAGUE
ABSTRACT NO. 54, IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That .the City. of College Station Zoning Ordinance #1638, more specificrally the
Official Zoning Map, be amended as set out in Exhibits "A", "B", and "C" attached
hereto and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way' effect the validity of the. rE;maining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
PART 3: That any person, firm or corporation violating any of .the provisions of this chapter
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two
Thousand Dollars ($2000.00).
PART 4: A notice of the time and. place, where and when said ordinance would be given a
public hearing and considered for final passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily
newspaper of general circulation in the Cities of Bryan and College Station, said
publication being. on Wednesday, May 12, 1999, the same being at least fifteen (l,5)
days prior to a public hearing to be held in the Council Room of the City Hall in
College Station, Texas, at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 27, 1999, to permit the
public to be heard prior to final consideration of this ordinance.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 27th day of May, 1999.
