O. Ball Subdivision Case #98-308 On Thursday, May 28, 1998, I spoke with Robert Scott with. CLR out of Houston to discuss the Longmire extension through this property.. We met with Robert and Jim Peyton from his office on Tuesday, May 26, 1998 to discuss the. development of the property bound by Rock Prairie Road, Longmire Drive, Birmingham and the. State Highway 6 Frontage Road.. They have a client interested in just that portion of the L.O. Ball subdivision. They asked if Longmire had. to be constructed with this phase of the develapment or could it be postponed until the remaining property is developed. They even asked if they could put up a guarantee for their .portion of the street and not construct now. After talking with Jane, we decided that our position would be that they need to build Longmire now. It's too early in the process and we do not have enough information to say anything differently at this point. However, if the developer would like to put a proposal together (something in writing explaining the details/issues as well as a conceptual layout of the property) staff would consider it including the possibility. of a development agreement, partial construction of the roadway, etc. Robert said that he will include this information in his report to the buyer and get with us on any future proposals. ~` ~~ N ali Tomas uz Assistant Development Coordinator May 28, 1998 Rabon Metcalf Municipal Development.
