Dear Pat:
Per your request the following procedures will be taken when locating the existing 16" TAMU
concretesteel cylinder water line that is under George Bush Dr. at approximate Sta. 74+60.
1) The existing concrete sidewalk will be removed from joint to joint on the northeast
side of George Bush Dr. The sidewalk will be replaced after location ofthe water line
per the attached detail and according to TxDOT Construction Specification No. 531.
2) The existing asphalt base that is under the concrete pavement and that wraps around
the curb will be left undisturbed.
3) Earth removed under the pavement will be replaced with cement stabilized sand.
Earth that is under the sidewalk will be replaced and compacted to 95% standard
proctor density.

Callaway Subdivision
Case #98-208
Rabon with MDG submitted a revised final plat of the Callaway Subdivision that was different from the
one approved by the Commission on March 19, 1998. Apparently, when the original mylar was
distributed for signatures, the owner of the property noticed that there were some errors including
another owner within the subdivision.
Staff reviewed the revised final plat and determined that it met the minor plat criteria and would not
require further review by the Commission. The infrastructure associated with the subdivision which
forced it to go before the Commission did not change at all. I called Rabon and told him that the
revised plat was approved by staff and to submit the original mylar with the necessary signatures for
filing.

Dear Natalie:
Attached are the ten (10) copies of the Final Plat that you requested. As you know, we are
requesting a variance not to apply for a CLOMR and file directly for a LOMR once the proposed
storm sewer has been constructed. On the original Final Plat the water elevation and location of
the 100-year flood plan will be shown. As I understand it we are currently scheduled for P&Z on
March 19 and will be on the ZBA agenda on April 7. Please let me know if the dates are
incorrect or if you require anything else.

Final Plat of the Callaway Subdivision & Replat of the Treehouse Subdivision.
Attached is a copy of the final plat with staff's comments. Please address the concerns/comments
and submit 10 copies of the revised final plat and the original mylar on Monday, March 9, 1998.
Also, resubmit the attached redlined final plat .so staff can compare the two. The final plat is
scheduled for the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Thursday, March 19, 1998 at 7:00
p.m. in the City Hall Council Room.

CALLAWAY I TREEHOUSE FINAL PLAT
Here's the situation:
The owner of lot 2R, block 1 is not cooperating in the final plat. MDG has tried for
months to work with various people in the corporation and cannot get anyone to talk to
him, much less sign the plat. However, the Callaway Corp. needs to close on their
construction financing this Friday, 5/22. Jim Callaway and I agreed to allow Rabon to
modify the original mylar to remove lot 2R from the final plat. I've included a redlined
copy of the final plat that shows the changes we all agreed to. (See attached.)
Rabon will bring in the revised mylar original and give it to Debra Charanza. Paul Kaspar
has the file, tracking sheet and redlined plat. He will sign the plat, give it to Jane to sign
and return it to Debra. Debra will make 13 copies and take the original along with the
copies to the Court House on Thursday, 5/21 for filing.
