The Planning -and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 20, 1998
at 7:00 p.m. to consider the rezoning request. The City Council will also hold a public hearing to
consider the rezoning request and the Commission's recommendation on Thursday, September
10, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. Both hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Room located at .1101

All owners of the subject property and property owners within 200 feet of the subject property
have received notification of this request.

This is to notify you that the City of College Station is considering a rezoning request of the

Proposed Zoning: From A-O Agriculture Open to the following:
28 acres to R-I Single Family Residential
The City Council approved a rezoning. request for the entire Steeplechase Subdivision with the
exception of the 28 acres of R-1 Single Family Residential.. The..Applicant has requested that the
Plamung and Zoning Commission and City Council reconsider the R-I zoning.

at 7:00 p.m. to consider the rezoning request. The~City Council will also hold a public hearing to

direction to consider'rezonng the property to R-1B Single Family Residential (larger lots). The
applicant has submitted a request for R-1 Single Family Residential (19.57 acres) and R-1B Single
Family-Residential (8.43 acres).
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a .public hearing on Thursday, December 17,
1998 at 7:00 p.m. to consider. the rezoning. request. The City. Council will. also hold a public
hearing to consider the rezoning request and. the Commission's recommendation on Thursday,
January 14, 1999 at 6:00 p,m. Both hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Room located
at 1101 Texas Avenue South, College Station, Texas.
