HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance ttlg -/tJy ORDINANCE NO. 2308 AN ORDINANCE REZONING A TWO PARCELS OF LAND TOTALING 14.787 ACRES LOCATED IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. 54, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING THE CALLED MARY LOIS BLAND 15.1864 ACRES OF LAND DESCRIBED IN THE DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 361, PAGE 571 OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: The entire 14.787 parcel ofland is rezoned as follows with the condition that additional buffering be provided along the common property line of the C-3 zoned tract and the single family lots: Tract # 1: The subject 13 .272 acre tract described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "A>> and shown graphically in Exhibit "C>> is rezoned from A-O Agricultural Open to R-l Single Family Residential. Tract #2: The subject 1.515 acre tract described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "B>> and shown graphically in Exhibit "C>> is rezoned from A~O Agricultural Open to C-3 Planned Commercial. A notice of the time and place, where and when said ordinance would be given a public hearing and considered for final . passage, was published in The Eagle, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the Cities of Bryan and College Station, said publication being on Wednesday, February 11, 1998, the same being at least fifteen (15) days prior to a public hearing to be held in the Council Room of the City Hall in College Station, Texas, at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 26, 1998, to permit the public to be heard prior to final consideration of this ordinance.
