He said he was told at a pre-sub. conference that since the previous report stated that the impact of the parking would be minimal to the drainage system and no detention would be required, that he could just resubmit that report. He was hoping to do this so that he did not have to consult with a Civil Engineer on this project again. I told him he may have to submit a letter signed and sealed by an engineer stating that the impact was minimal, listing impervious areas, how the runoff will be directed offsite and the quantity runoff that would be added to the underground system. I told him that I would ask .you to make sure the letter would be required,_ since he is trying to do this without Engineers consultation and the impact is minimal. He also wanted me to ask you if the plans had to have an Engineer's seal on them. He will be here for the PRC on Wednesday, so you can speak to him about these issues at that time... Perhaps-you missed it, .Sabine. It was. his hope that fie would not have to go back thru the CUP process. and I told him that if the changes are .deemed rather insignificant (which is determined by-the Planning staff) that sometimes they can be o.k.'d by that staff. He has decreased the size of the building addition somewhat, but has connected the driveways. Does he have to go thru the CUP process ~ again? Veronica & Paul are comparing the drainage .information he submitted with these changes with what he submitted previously to try to determine if the drainage is being significantly changed with this ~ proposal Interestingly enough, although he has decreased the size of-the building addition, there appears to be somewhaf of an increase in the impervious cover. V &,Paul will soon be able to tell us if the runoff has changed or if he has adequately addressed the change. Would you please reconsider your statement that you have approved his plans with the condition that he resubmit one matching what was approved in July 1997.
